Cycling with the wind!
Numerous themed routes and long-distance cycle paths offer a diverse cycling program for both casual and frequent cyclists. They lead through forests and fields, along rivers and streams, through lively villages and bustling small towns, to historical buildings and hidden gems. Cyclists using a star-shaped route can access several routes from a single location. For multi-day trips, a variety of long-distance cycle paths are available. Tours beyond our designated cycle routes are possible on the 1,800 km long, signposted cycle path network.
Canoe tours
How about a canoe trip?
...the Wümme River beckons. Discover the biodiverse Wümme lowlands. The Wümme, approximately 118 km long, rises in the Lüneburg Heath and winds its way through a varied landscape towards Bremen, joining the Hamme to form the Lesum, which in turn flows into the Weser. Along its course, the Wümme passes about 150 meters from our house.
There is a canoe rental place right in our neighborhood, less than 100 meters from our house.
